We founded Cheshire Cat Marketing in 2016 after watching too many small businesses burn through agency budgets and end up with a slow site and a stack of invoices.
We work with businesses across the UK and into Finland and Sweden, and every bit of it is done in-house. Whoever you speak to first is the person doing the work, and they stay with you. Nobody is passing your messages to a separate team.
No, but our founder and several team members are just 25 minutes up the road in Northwich. Close enough to know the patch properly, far enough to keep our overhead sensible. Most clients prefer the lower price more than they need an office in Chester.
It’s simple – we have lower overheads, but offer the same great standard of work. There are some good Chester agencies out there, but you should pick the right team for you rather than the one with the right postcode. We offer a boutique in-house team focused on bringing creative, innovative marketing to life. We don’t outsource as some agencies do; we don’t have agency churn (every client we work with usually stays with us long-term), and we don’t work with every company we speak to. Being a boutique agency means we can and will turn away businesses that don’t fit our ethos, or that we don’t believe we are the right fit for. Not really, and most clients prefer it that way. Everything can run over Zoom, WhatsApp and phone calls, so a quick question doesn’t sit in a queue waiting for someone to be in the same room as you. We’re Northwich-based, and we know the Chester market, which matters far more to the work than where the meeting happens.
That said, we do always love an excuse to get out and about, especially to one of our favourite cities, so we’re more than happy to visit when needed.
