Yes. Our base is in Moulton, just south of Northwich. We’re properly local – not an agency claiming Cheshire coverage from somewhere else. Staff work remotely across the county, so the team’s spread out, but the registered office and physical base is here.
No. Kick-offs, design reviews and the sign-off calls all run over Zoom or Teams, screen shared, so you're looking at the actual site as we talk through it. It's quicker than a meeting and you get a recording afterwards if you want one.
Typical brochure site: 4-6 weeks. Standard ecommerce: 8-12 weeks. Larger or more complex builds run longer. Big variable is content readiness on your end. We can write copy if needed but it adds time.
We usually steer clients toward custom-coded themes – they load faster, age better, and don’t break when plugins update. But page builders aren’t bad, they’re trade-offs. If your team needs drag-and-drop layout editing and that workflow matters more than peak performance, we’ll build it that way and do it properly. We’ll be honest about which is right for you on the first call.
A site in minutes was never the expensive part. The builder gives everyone the same shape with different words in it, and search engines have seen a hundred thousand of them. You get a 30-day snag period for anything not quite right, then optional monthly maintenance covering WordPress core, plugin updates, Patchstack security monitoring, daily backups, and minor tweaks. Or just walk away if you’d rather manage it yourself.
Yes. Off Wix, Squarespace, Elementor, Divi, anywhere. We rebuild the design (improving it where appropriate), migrate the content, set up redirects so SEO doesn’t tank, and switch DNS. Usually 4-8 weeks for a full migration.
It does if you sell online to customers in the EU, even from a UK office. Since 28 June 2025, online shops and a handful of other services, such as banking and travel booking, have had to be accessible to disabled people. Businesses with fewer than 10 staff and under €2 million a year in turnover are exempt. In the UK, the Equality Act already expects every business to make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers, whatever its size.
Both come back to the same guidelines, WCAG. The European standard behind the Act moved to WCAG 2.2 in September 2026, and that’s the level we build every site to and test it against before launch. We can write your accessibility statement too.
