What does a marketing agency in Cheshire actually cost?
It depends on the work. Web design starts around £3,000 for a small site. SEO retainers usually run from £600 to £2,500 a month depending on the competition. Google Ads management is typically 10-15% of ad spend. Most clients work with us on a rolling monthly retainer covering several services, which works out cheaper than hiring even one in-house marketer. We do a free chat first and tell you straight what's realistic for your budget.
Why hire a Cheshire-based agency over a London or Manchester one?
Lower overheads. London agencies pass their rent on to you. Manchester agencies are catching up. We're in Northwich, our overheads are sensible, and the work is the same standard. Plus most marketing happens digitally these days. The location of the agency matters far less than the quality of the team.
Do you only work with Cheshire businesses?
No. Roughly half our clients are in Cheshire, half are spread across the UK. We've also worked with clients in Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands and the US. Most of the work is delivered remotely. Cheshire businesses get an in-person visit if it helps. UK-wide clients usually find that's not necessary.

How long are your contracts?
Project work is project-based. Retainers are rolling monthly. If we're not delivering, you can leave. Most clients stay for years because the work works, not because they're locked in.

Cheshire Cat Marketing is Rhiannon and Darren. We started in 2016 because we'd seen too many small businesses burn through agency budgets and end up with a slow site and a stack of invoices.
We're based in Moulton, just outside Northwich, and we work with businesses right across Cheshire. You deal with a senior person start to finish, not an account manager passing messages along.
